RCC HISTORY
This exhibit chronicles the establishment and growth of Roxbury Community College from the early planning stages to recent college events and activities. It features images, newspaper clippings, and documents from the college archives.
RCC First Location
After several years of planning, Roxbury Community College opened its doors on September 10, 1973, to 400 students. The first temporary home of RCC was located at 460 Blue Hill Avenue, in a building that used to be the home of a car dealership.
