A Participatory one-act drama commenting on the conditions that African American labored under in America between 1806-1850. Based upon actual testimony of leading figures of the time who lived and worked in and around Boston, Words of Resistance is the first of a trilogy of one-act plays focused on the development of Boston’s black community.
